| Martine Leblanc, MD Assistant Professor University of Montreal Chief of Nephrology Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Montreal, Qu Canada Martine Leblanc is a nephrologist and intensivist. She had her medical training and received her MD in 1989 at University of Montreal. She did a residency in internal medicine followed by a residency in nephrology from 1989 to 1994 in Montreal also. After a post-doctoral fellowship of three years (at the Cleveland Clinic in critical care nephrology, at University of Pittsburgh in multidisciplinary critical care, and in hemodiafiltration at Hôpital Lapeyronie in Montpellier, France), she returned to Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital in Montreal, which is affiliated to University of Montreal. Since 1997, she is an associate professor at the department of Medicine, University of Montreal and is the medical director of hemodialysis at Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Since 2004, she is the director of nephrology at the same institution. Her main interests and publications concern chronic hemodialysis and vascular access as well as CRRT and acute dialysis.
