San Diego, Ca USA Patty Graham has over 23 years of critical care nursing experience with the last 13 years specializing as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (state certified). Patty is very actively involved in critical care education at the bedside, locally and nationally. In collaboration with faculty at UCSD over the 16 months Patty has utilized simulation as tool for validation of interdisciplinary Code Blue Team competence, for tracer methodology with ST elevation MI patients, and as a tool for annual nursing skills and competency validation. She is the recipient of the 1999 San Diego AACN Excellence in Critical Care Education Award, the year 2000 National AACN Circle of Excellence Award in Critical Care Education and the year 2005 UCSD Healthcare Marguerite Jackson Award for Professional Nursing Excellence. |
