Katja Gist, DO, MSc Cincinnati , OH United States I am a dual trained pediatric cardiologist and intensivist. I perform all my clinical care in the cardiac intensive care unit, which is both a surgical and medical intensive care unit for children and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. I am the co-director of the Center for Acute Care Nephrology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I perform clinical research in multiple areas of critical care nephrology, focusing on fluid management, diagnostic tools and systemic complications. I currently lead 2 national collaboratives studying extracorporeal organ support, AKI and fluid overload in children.
