 | Michael Hutchens, MD I am an anesthesiology-trained clinician-scientist whose interest in acute cardiorenal syndrome and transition to CKD is driven by clinical experience in cardiovascular and surgical critical care. My basic science work, primarily carried out in a mouse model of cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, now focuses on heart-to-kidney signaling and early alterations in tubular epithelial function which may lead to long-term change.
